My name is Melena’a but you can call me Na’a for short.

 

I am a Polynesian Entrepreneur, Storyteller & Dream Weaver! As a Polynesian who grew up in Hawai’i, specifically the North Shore of Oahu - I can honestly say that I’ve been blessed to have grown up in a deeply rooted Polynesian home & community. The influence to learn about my culture and share it with the world has brought me to this point of wanting to share it with you through my handmade with love Lauhala Jewelry. Inspired to continue this weaving journey from my past teachers like my Grandma Ana, Great Aunt Uila and Master Weaver Aunty Lina.

We are more than just another Lauhala Jewelry Shop selling you handmade jewelry. We are story tellers of our Polynesian people; we are students of the past who are dream weavers for the future. I am just an island girl who wants to take you on a Journey through Polynesia, one woven story at a time.
